SuperATV Can-Am Commander 4″ Portal Gear Lift

If you want to redefine your Can-Am Commander with unstoppable power and performance, you need SuperATV’s 4” GDP Portal Gear Lift. You get to choose a 15% or 30% gear reduction and whether you want a cast or billet housing. Love big tires and big mud holes? Get a 30% reduction. Prefer keeping your tires closer to stock for trail riding? Go with a 15% reduction. And if you drive like mad and regularly bust up your parts, upgrade to dual idlers for ultimate strength. Ride the way you want where you want—GDP will take you there.

Enhance Your Ride Through Any Terrain
Whether you dominate the dunes, trails, or mud pits, GDP will make your experience better. A 15% gear reduction will give you faster rides that pack enough torque to get wild, and the 30% option is perfect for gearing down and going big with monster tires. And if you’re the kind of rider who regularly pushes your machine to its breaking point, you’ll want to grab some dual idlers. Our Can-Am Commander portals have all the strength you need to push it to the limits.

A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
Portals put their gear reduction right in the hub. At the same time that it’s boosting your torque, it’s also protecting your drivetrain. It reduces stress on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission so you can ride harder than stock and do less damage than stock.

Stronger Portals Through and Through
GDP Portals are the strongest on the planet, so if you’re wondering whether they can handle the trail abuse you’re used to, rest assured they can. They’re available in cast and billet aluminum housings that come paired with our 5/16” backing plates. Thanks to our robust construction using an advanced steel alloy, you get absolutely unbeatable Commander portals.

• Our housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow
• Advanced steel alloy backing plates are stronger than Chromoly
• Enhance with Portal Blood—gear oil formulated for GDP Portals
• There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we know because we tested them

Advanced Gaskets, Seals, and Bearings
Our portals use:

• Advanced Thermo-Tork® Gaskets and O-rings with excellent oil resistance and low deterioration rates
• A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
• 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
• Double-angular contact output bearings to prevent premature wear
• Roller idler and drive bearings to maintain perfect gear meshing

2011-2020 Models Get Extended Trailing Arms Designed for Rhino Axles
The 2011-2020 Commander portals come with 4” extended rear trailing arms. That extended wheelbase gives you more stability and clearance for larger tires, and the trailing arms come complete with all bearings. Because of that longer wheelbase, these portals require Rhino or Rhino 2.0 axles. They’re built for the high articulation you get with a longer wheelbase, and their Chromoly shaft and CV joints make them super strong and durable for any riding application.

Complete the Package with a Frame Stiffener
Portals and monster tires are fun, but they can place additional stress on your machine’s frame. To make your suspension bulletproof, we recommend adding a SuperATV Frame Stiffener when you install your new Can-Am portals!
